Founded in 2006 through the cooperation of Demadona and Gemedu Dedefo Corporation, the organization began with a small group of track and marathon runners and grew into one of the most successful athletics programs in the world.
After 20 years of achievement, the organization officially became Dream of 42 in 2026, marking a new chapter built on long-term athlete development, scientific training, professional coaching, and strong ethical values. Dream of 42 has developed and supported globally renowned athletes such as Tamirat Tola, Tigist Assefa, Yomif Kejelcha, Amane Beriso Shankule, and Sisay Lemma, among many others. Their success reflects the organization’s commitment to excellence and sustainable performance. With 24 victories across all six World Marathon Majors, including Berlin, Tokyo, Boston, London, New York, and Chicago, Dream of 42 stands as a proven leader in producing Olympic, World Championship, and world-record-breaking athletes.
